UL 508A HMI Retrofit – Parts are In!

Surprised with this stack in the shop. We’re working on a large UL 508A HMI retrofit, and the new Thin Manager clients and touch screens have arrived. I had the chance to dry fit the laser-cut 10-gauge 304 stainless steel adapter plates.

The fit was perfect—couldn’t be happier.

For this project, we went with the new Allen-Bradley 6300 thin clients and VersaView monitors. Space was tight, but having the components separate gave us more flexibility for mounting and power.

We originally considered stainless steel bezels like the Hope Industrial screens, but these fit direct and aluminum bezels give a nice contrast and feel solid in the 10-gauge adapter plates.

This is the fun part we get to show, but the real work happens on the back-end server side (under NDA, unfortunately).
